Photos That Will Ruin Your Childhood
Childhood is a joyous time of youthful innocence yet to be corrupted with all that comes with transitioning into adulthood. Everyone can recall a television show or movie that they grew up adoring and never once did thought that they teetered on being inappropriate.
Everyone’s favorite aardvark, Arthur, had a lot of educational value. However, this still out of context is bound to raise some eyebrows on anyone older than the target audience.
Many of us followed the adventures of the Australian-immigrant wallaby Rocko on ‘Rocko’s Modern Life’, but probably didn’t catch this crude little joke. With a door sign that reads ‘Dr. Bendova’, most kids probably have no idea what this name is suggesting.
Sure, Popeye’s body isn’t very proportionate, but none of us really ever gave a second thought to why his forearms were so bulking, until now that is.
The series of children’s books following the lovable bear family ‘The Berenstain Bears" was a staple of most childhoods. However, it’s hard to look at this particular book and not see that Papa Bear may have been a tad racist this entire time.
The Amazing Spongebob is always up to some crazy antics, but you probably never really considered what it is he’s using to create a blow-up Squidward. Has anyone else ever come across a clear elongated balloon before? That’s probably because these aren’t balloons, at least the Krusty Krab is prepared.
We all grew up with our favorite temperamental duck Donald and probably never second guessed this bizarre cartoon moment. Compose yourself Donald, this is far from appropriate and that snide eyebrow raise isn’t making this any less disturbing.
You won’t find a group more selfless than the multi-colored bears with a plethora of personalities ‘The Care Bears". However, now that we’ve all taken off our glasses of innocence it’s hard to look at this still of a cloud car repair without thinking that there might be a little too much ‘caring’ going on. So maybe these bears were a little more out of control than we originally realized, we hope that all this bear is showing is his belly badge.
