Big Data Porn Insights

What do Dinosaurs, mom's, teen's and revenge have to do with one another? Apparently they are all keyword groupings (and specific keywords) people use to find their daily source of excitement in the form of online porn. Through the use of Big Data Porn Insights, we are able to determine useful information all the way down to specific keywords and topics of interest.

Recently, the team at Sexualitics.org researched a series of terms through about 800,000 pornography videos online from site Xhamster and used their own tool (called "Porngram") to analyze and dissect big data values that included meta data from the videos identified as part of the study. The team was a combination of sociologists, political scientists and statisticians - an ideal trifecta!

To further ensure the data was more interesting and could show some trending, the analysis of the 800k videos spanned from 2007-2013, and included meta data found on those video site pages which included: date, title, tags/keywords, description, view count, votes, video length, comments and author identifier (anonymized further). Their custom analysis program, Porngram, tracks the instances of keywords over time as a percentage of the whole dataset, churning out the insights derived in their published charts and stats.
